We'll be rolling out a new weekday feature here at Can't Stop the Movies. Since the podcast is going to be used for special occasions from now on we still want to share our thoughts on news that's coming out each day. So, every night, we'll be consolidating all of the news we find interesting into a post here on the site. Feel free to comment and join in as you like because we love our regulars commentators and would like to expand the circle.
DVD reviews this week include a James McAvoy double-feature as he stars in Danny Boyle's Trance and Eran Creevy's Welcome to the Punch for Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday we'll see how Paul Walker is doing outside the Fast and Furious franchise in Vehicle 19.
This Friday Andrew and Kyle will be watching the last, to date, fictional film from Oliver Stone in Savages. Andrew didn't like it that much the first time around but is looking forward to seeing how it fits in with Stone's other films this time.
After a pathetic outing in Origins Hugh Jackman returns as Logan in James Mangold's The Wolverine, Michael B. Jordan and Octavia Spencer star in the timely Fruitvale Station, and Aubrey Plaza stretches out of her indie comfort zone in The To Do List.
The appreciation series rolls on this Sunday with Andrew taking the reigns after Ryan's write-up on critic Ken Tucker.
