Director Billy Wilder (1906-2002) is often considered one of the greatest directors who've ever lived. After fleeing Berlin in the early 30's, he first made his home in France and shortly after made his mark in Hollywood. A screenwriter, director and producer, Wilder's films often mix comedy with sharply observed satire on the American condition. In this series, Danny and Ryan go back and take a look at Wilder's films, the good and the bad, and share their thoughts.
The collected writings on Wilder's career are available as part of Illicit Love On Sinister Staircases for Kindle.
